    2017, THE GRATITUDE CAMPAIGN

    Gratitude Campaign – February

    February 3, 2017

Each month in the Gratitude Campaign I take a moment to reflect and write about what I'm grateful for.

A lesson from last month’s post, which you can find here. I learned that gratitude for things, both big and small can be both life changing and life affirming. In the midst of trials, gratitude can impact your life in a huge way. It can move you past those trials towards your destiny, whatever that is. Gratitude can change your perspective on anything.

    I’M GRATEFUL…

1st – being able to write words that change women’s lives…even if for only one day.

2nd – for long hikes in dense woods and life-affirming conversation.

3rd – for impromptu living room dance parties.

4th – lazy Saturdays spent with family.

5th – for impromptu visits from friends and delicious and fun brunch.

6th – a body that supports my constant need for activity.

7th – that my family is surrounded by people who support us and pray for us and help us.

8th – for the ability to have access to a wheelchair that helps my child stay mobile while being injured. And having amazing insurance that completely covers the cost of the rental while we use it.

9th – knowledgeable doctors that helped my child and goes to great lengths to make sure she gets the proper care and attention her injury needs.

10th – a half a day spent alone. A day I could relax and just be with myself.

11th – for the chance to get to know someone better despite we’ve known each other for 3 years.

12th – for a new week full of new possibilities and exciting opportunities.

13th – for little girls who pick out candy, flowers and treats with such gusto. They just want to share all the things with everyone!

14th – an afternoon mommy/daughter date with my youngest.

15th – for the ability to reach inside and muster of the strength to get through a tough situation.

16th – for fabulous women who are honest no matter what and who rally together despite their differences.

17th – to be able to volunteer for my daughter’s field trip.

18th – to hang out and celebrate our friend’s daughter’s first birthday!

19th – the chance to make plans to do some of the things on my bucket list.

20th – for beautiful rainy days.

21st – for moments of silence and reflection.

22nd – for the kindness of others.

23rd – to be able to take chances and follow my own direction even when I don’t know what that is.

24th – for the time to be able to spend time with each of my daughters at their field trips.

25th – to have the ability and time to be creative.

26th – for the ability to work on my own schedule.

27th – for the opportunity to voice my opinion and be heard.

    28th – for a productive day.
